today's obession: taxidermy


Spend a few days in the Adirondacks (as we just did) and suddenly mounted critterheads seem essential to fine decor. We brought home our own sawdust-filled friend (more on him later) and we couldn’t be more excited about it. I did a little research online last night and learned a bit about this underappreciated art form. After the antler-craze that hit this past winter, I’m guessing this is the next wave. I am totally obsessed with taxidermy. I always wonder where you find it without spending hours on ebay looking at things made from goat fur. any thoughts?
