Tonight’s Sunday dinner was taken from the pages of Everyday Food’s March issue: Spaghetti Carbonara, pg. 95. This recipe is incredibly simple, with only one twist on the traditional: using half-and-half instead cream. To make it for two people (with leftovers) instead of four, I cut it down by one-third, using two eggs instead of three. I also tossed in some pan roasted cherry tomatoes, just for a bit of extra flavor. Kinda like a BLT pasta dish.. without the T. Though Everyday Food’s was tasty, I think I prefer a slightly more seasoned version, with a bit of garlic and onion… Kinda like Tom Cruise’s recipe I just found on Oprah.com.
