Can you believe how similar the Pier 1 and Crate & Barrel catalogs look? They have both have bought into the brown and blue (or rather eggshell and café au lait) color palette trend, mixing natural textures with light, flowery prints and creamy pastels. If you’ve never been attracted to Pier1’s hippy ethnic vibe before, you should take another look. The lines of all their pieces have been refined, and there’s some chic, mod looks that hold their own next to expensive designs.
