I was just in Barcelona last weekend and found a photography gallery very similar in prices to the one you are talking about. It’s called LA CAMARA LUCIDA (www.lacamaralucida.com ) The gallery is a very nice and confortable place to have a look at the photographs. You should also take a look at this site!

I sprung for a large sized print, mounted. I liked the way the mounted photos looked on the site — very immediate, no dead space. It is a bit daunting to make a decision based on images you see on a website — it is not at all the same as examining a photo and especially the craftsmanship that went into framing/mounting it in a gallery. But I noticed that they have a 30 day money back guarantee, so you can try the art out in your home. So if I truly hate it I can send it back and call the shipping the price of experimenting with online art shopping.

All told I spent a little over 500 bucks, which is a lot for me — to put it in prespective, I just bought a coffee table and a console at west elm, BOTH for under 400. I suppose that shows you where my priorities lie.

The print should arrive in about a month. I’ll stop back by the site and let you know how it looks!
