trolling through target: new product picks
Target has loaded up a ton of new products on its site, but like any great hunt, it takes a while to find the treasures. Here’s a few things that we feel are great buys, shipping costs and all! Top row: This 18″ geometric floral pillow, for $25, is very hip. Start your day (or night!) with a glow in the dark retro alarm clock, $17. A cute percolator, $13, deserves some counterspace. Bottom: A small chrome table fan, $20, is perfect for desks. This wood cutout lamp, $50, has a mod-Asian feel. And finally, guess which SoHo-based potter’s work this ribbed metal vase, $40, reminds us of?
Those pillows are a bargain – great finds!

There is absolutely a ton of stuff similar in design to the floral geometric pillow – lots of tableware, but also officeware in the back-to-school section. (It’s in the chichi aisle that seems to be aimed at college students.)
I particularly like the wood cutout lamp, and some acrylic coffee tables, $50 in clear or red, that I saw for the first time this week.
