Yes, we’re total, complete, devoted Project Runway fans. And, in keeping with the spirit of Shelterrific, we’re nearly as obsessed with the background decor as we are with the contestants themselves. Here’s one item we were reminded of during last night’s episode: the Starburst Wire Wall Mirror from Wrapables, $44. We spotted one very similar behind Miss USA when she was “interviewing” the designers. Don’t think it’s the exact one, but it’s damn close. Watch the reruns this week and you’ll see what we mean! I wonder how the designer Thomas Pheasant feels about his $4,466, 54-inch-diameter Constellation mirror for Baker being ripped off?
I noticed the canvases behind the beds were large stretched panels of Marimekko fabric. Surprised no one seemed to take advantage of that during the first challenge.
First of the all Thomas Phesant the “designer” ripped this design off. I believe the designer was french and the period was the 40′s.
