I get the same warm and fuzzy feeling when I think about the Powers of 10 as I do when I remember Schoolhouse Rock. As a kid I had no idea who the Eameses were, and certainly had no connection between them, this little science movie and plastic chair I was sitting on. As an adult, I learned what a masterpiece the film is and watch it whenever I can. For the next two months, DWR is screening Powers of 10, along with six other Eames’ shorts at the Eames Film Festival in DWR Studios around the country. It starts August 10th in San Francisco and is wrapping up Ocotber 4th in Birmingham; click here for the schedule.
