end of summer tag sale fun

Our annual tag sale was a hit in Bearsville on Saturday. We made about a grand between four of us (Megan, Joan, Donna and myself). Jesse the bassett hound and Owen Meany the bulldog were the official greeters. Bric-a-brac was flying off the tables. We sold a wrought iron daybed, some great lamps and lots of clothes. We had such a blast. Megan found some the vintage Frye boots for a mere ten dollars. I scored some old Chanel mini-perfume bottles. At one point there must have been eight dogs roaming around the sale. I did see someone lift his leg on an old wood box. Joan cleaned it up with some Lysol and it sold! One man’s junk is no doubt another’s treasure. — Allison R

I would have bought that bed in a heartbeat. How much did it sell for?

LK – The bed went for 75 bucks. A cute find. The folks were putting it in their garden for people to sit on. There is this place in Ct. called Hob Knob or something, let me investigate they have a zillion of these old beds…I’ll try to find their website for you!

See that photograph at the foot of the day bed – did it sell? – if not can I have it?
