The latest edition is no exception, including the company’s first foray into a whole new realm: Dots! Or rather, buttons as the pattern above is called. There’s more than meets the eye here: each of those circles is actually divided into four pieces that can lead all sorts of pattern possibilities. The photo on top is of another pattern that immediately appealed: camoflower. Another great new pattern is called House Pet, a multi-functional, durable square that comes in many bright colors. Just a couple of more reasons to reconsider wall-to-wall, we say. What if it’s temporary? After leaving my parents home, I rented apartments in Boston - all with hardwood floors. Now I have a home with wall to wall berber carpet. Would I do wall to wall Adams? Most likely not. I get tired of patterns too quickly. Do I prefer wall to wall over hardwood? No, I prefer wood or another smooth surface, polished concrete, tile, etc. I like having the ability to wash my floors. I also have bad allergies and carpeting seems to trap dirt/dust, which makes my allergies worse. I prefer berber (high quality berber that takes traffic well) over the usual carpeting - no vacumm lines, better for my allergies, looks very nice, hides debris if you aren't one to vacumm daily, and is comfortable for those who visit me with small children.
