we’re not sure what to make of this: hair curtains
Allison R. sent a late night email with these beauties. “Now I’ve seen everything.” Silk curtains with printed blond hair. They’re from designer Nicolette Brukalaus from Amsterdam (where there are lots of blondes!) and can be found at Lekker home for $1250. … Could be fun in a hair a salon, or maybe a drag queen’s cabaret, but at home? What do you think? Do you find them strangely appealing? Or just scary?

Actually, they would be extremely cool in the right situation, say a Miami loft, with a few Louis XV-style chairs painted gloss white and Dandelion sculpture by Harry Bertoia. Think about it

I can’t stop thinking about them. I can see them in a Scarface (in his house) type setting. Or an Escape to WitchMoutain remake. Oh aren’t they something. I think red hair would be really rich!

Creepy as shown in the flat panels, but I’m wondering if they wouldn’t be really lovely if they were bunched up to abstract the image. I love the color.

i think in a salon, they’d be perfect… and i think the hair does look really clean, in fact- like it was just washed. im strangely attracted to these and i think in the right setting, it would be a great surprise design element
