opinions needed! quick kid’s décor question

Hey! What do you think about this print from Chiasso for a toddler’s room? Is it too grown up? Too seventies? Let me know what you think of this, or if you have other suggestions for fun-but-not-cutesy artwork. Thanks! — Beth J.

I think the field is wide open for you. If you like it, and your toddler doesn’t scream about it, hang it up.

How about one of these posters? I love the penguin and the okapi.

it’s nice but i think it is a little too grown up & drab for a toddler’s room. try framing pages of children’s books or check out http://www.landofnod.com/ for a great selection of modern & stylish yet still “young” art.

have your toddler draw something
it’s got to be better than that.

I think it is great! When your toddler gets older or you redocorate this piece can be used anywhere else because it isn’t too cutesy. Besides, it matters more if you like it. A toddler probably doesn’t care what is on the walls.

I grew up in the seventies with the de riguer brown, green and rusty orange wallpaper (little houses and hills–very mod) and I HATED IT!! Do the child a favor and paint the walls his favorite color, then let him pick out some things to hang up. He’ll remember it forever–trust me.

Sorry, I just don’t like it. The whole appeal of the dandelion is that it is light and airy and something to make a wish on. These dandelions are dark and heavy, more grounded than free.

It’s ugly. Not that everything in this life should be pretty, but if you’re talking about art in a kid’s room, it would be nice to have something non-ugly.
