Makes me laugh! It looks like some artist made a horse sculpture but couldn’t sell it… he then decided to put a lamp shade on it and VOILA! a beautiful lamp for sale!

I am oddly drawn to this lamp, even though it goes against every ounce of taste in my body. Perhaps this is an example of how my taste shifts and moves foeward over time.

Interesting you should ask. The answer is YES.I’m going to cut and paste the last paragraph of a comment I left at Decor8 and reposted on my blog. DON’T let this badness happen to you!

Finally, my biggest regret was not buying a life sized metal sculpture of a donkey (The “Big Ass” my husband always calls it) at the flea market 4 years ago. We were very tight for money and it was $250. He hated it, I loved it but it came down to: Do we Eat or buy the Ass? To this day, I wish we’d lived on hot sauce packets from Taco Bell. Lesson learned: if you loveit, will never see one like it again and it tells a wonderful story: BUY IT and worry about food later!

It looks like it is wearing a little hat. It is surprisingly endearing and I think I would own it. Sometimes my taste even shock myself.

i love this, but i think you’d need a fairly big space to accomodate it.
