Is one of your New Year goals to spruce up your home? Room & Board has just unveiled their new collection for 2007, and in it you’ll find some old favorites in new colors. We especially like the egg-shell Jake chairs, $79 and the Concord sliding door cabinet, $1999. Check it out here and tell us what you like.

Since R&B is Minnesota based, one cool thing is seeing items named after towns, neighborhoods or cool hangouts.

Sadly, most of it is WAY out of my price range.

Those chairs want to come home with me. However, I think the plain wood, slightly cheaper ones from you-know-where will probably be the ones that do, and could be painted to look like this. (Right?)

What is it with fondue pots lately? I don’t know anyone who’s actually eating fondue, still, unless they go to The Melting Pot. But my best friend just got her *third* fondue pot for Xmas… she’s gotten one every year since they became common again. She never uses them. Alpine Chic!

I have one, and I’m the most likely to use it of anyone I know, but mine belonged to my grandparents & requires Sterno. Having worked in catering, I avoid Sterno whenever possible.
