People keep asking me for a heads up when I find more, so you might be onto something with the fish trend. By the way, I too grew up in northern WI surrounded by that lake house decor. I actually love your mounted fish because it reminds me of those times--don't you dare change that vintage mount with the taxidermist's sig or we'll have to revoke your retro-fishing license! I have seen a lot of fish motifs, mostly swirly Asian-inspired things, in the same way that songbird silhouettes heated up in the last few years.
