how do you store your collectibles?
(Top Design wants to know!)

Clicking around the Top Design website we found the show’s online challenge, which tickles us to no end (’cause nothing is more fun than looking at pictures of other people’s homes). Their first quest is to see how viewers store their collectibles, and there’s a variety of stuff on display: globes, drink stirrers, wooden screws, decorative eggs and more. Click here to rate the entries. Which got us thinking: Do you have clever way to show off your collectibles? Let us know and we’ll make a post about you.
P.S. Come back tomorrow and we’ll talk about tonight’s episode!

i store almost everything in my classroom (i’m a teacher) in jars- it’s cheap, it’s easy to see what’s inside, and it looks good.

I have a bunch of Pez dispensers which are NOT on display – the display units are really specialized & not that cheap, and I can’t think of another way to display them without destroying them. Maybe a small ledge (2-3″?) with museum wax? I also have “alternative plush” toys and “art toys” – which get revolving shelf space. No pics, though. Most of my random tiny things are in random tiny boxes on shelves; not that interesting. & books live as much as possible on white, white, white bookshelves.
