I loved Ashton’s house in No Strings Attached, I love that LA midcentury vibe.

In It’s Complicated, they had to have a plotline to bring the architect in, right?

Well, I’d really love to live in Rivendell in “The Fellowship of the Ring” — the gardens, the library, the gorgeous carved bed Frodo slept in, the balconies and the view. But if you mean a realistic house, I just love the house of Meryl Streep’s character in the movie “It’s Complicated”. I have no idea why she would want to remodel it. It is perfect as it is.

I’ve always loved the house in Woody Allen’s 1973 film “Sleeper.” It’s always been the high point of our drives west on 1-70 from Denver to the mountains, lovingly dubbed “The Sleeper House.” The interior was never finished (they just shot exterior scenes of it for the film) and sat vacant for nearly 30 years until it was recently purchased and re-furbished.

Check out the movie, “Being There” with Peter Sellers and Shirley MacLaine. Shirley’s character lives in Biltmore Estate (the Vanderbilts mansion in Asheville NC) AWESOME…(why not dream big)…AND I loved the house in the movie, “The War of the Roses” with Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner!
