		<description>Hey! These are really good tips :) I live about 5 hours north of Las Vegas and it's dry there pretty much throughout the year. We have 3 humidifiers in the house (1 in our bedroom, 1 in my son's room, and 1 in the family room) and they are a real lifesaver. Just to add on to your list of suggestions, here's a website that I've used a few times before and been pleased with the results. It compares different types of humidifiers for your different needs (e.g. allergies, cold, dry skin). I hope it helps!

The warm mist ones get too hot for kids or pets and can harm them if spilled or if they get close to the steam.
