want it now: susan bradley creep shelf

I spotted this leafy shelf in a couple of UK mags and had to track it down online. It’s the Susan Bradley creep shelf, whose name does not convey its loveliness. Taking inspiration from the way that plants grow, the shelf “creeps” up a wall, giving new life to a flat thing. I think it’s the perfect thing for us urbanites without enough (uh, any) outdoor space. Made of steel, powder coated with white glass, available at hiddenart.com and at rockettstgeorge.co.uk, for $184. — Angela M.

I love how we’re living in this fifth dimension these days with design–all the 2-D stuff is becoming 3-D or something like that. It reminds me of my modern dance teacher telling me to use the space around me!
I have. To. Have. This. NOW.
