colored glass for your easter table

Have you seen Fishs Eddy’s new American Handpressed glass collection? The owners of the store discovered a warehouse full of it last winter and have added the selection to their site, which already features great new and vintage dishware pieces. The colored glass comes in a few charming shapes, like lady figures, sheep saltcellers and this lovely Rose Thistle pitcher, $50. Yes, you can use it for water or lemonade, but wouldn’t it be great stuffed with a big bunch of fresh daisies? Also, a three piece Hen-on-Nest set for $31. Log onto fisheseddy.com.

Colored pressed glass reminds me of my grandmother from West Virginia. She had many pieces and over the years passed them on to the grandchildren. My family and I have nested chickens in unique colors and shapes.
