want it now: kitsch’n glam apron
I’ve long thought that aprons should become a new wardrobe staple and wish I had the gall (or a model’s frame) to wear an apron out on the town. I got close when a friend gifted me with a swell Pacific Northwest-inspired number from Anthropologie, which I wore throughout my recent going-away party. But what’s really turning my head are the gorgeous, reversible, surely gallery-hopping-worthy designs from Kitsch ‘n Glam ($62 each). You can browse her modern takes on ’50s styles by body style (men and kids included). She even has matching oven mitts! — Mary T
p.s. Would be a great Mom’s Day present!

This post inspired me to finally order an apron I’ve had bookmarked for several months. And I don’t cook! That’s how cute it is. http://www.carolynskitchenonline.com/_mycarolyn/html/dorothy_apron.html

Have you seen the Flirt Apron by perdoozy? http://www.perdoozy.etsy.com/ Crazy cute and almost always under $30! Plus they are really made well — I wear mine almost every day to actually cook in — and Portia’s service is top-notch.
