And, let me tell you, a nationwide trend happened the day the movie, "Something's Gotta Give" came out with Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson. That kitchen launched a new relaxed traditional look, sort of a butler's pantry kitchen "look", as I call it. It's still popular and gaining momentum. Lovelovelove to see these kitchens! It's the Friends syndrome. How can they afford those Manhattan apartments on those salaries? On some level, I have to think production designers create their dream kitchens on opm. Will try to find movies that give a lot for little money (a friend of mine shot her film in her own barn renovation and environs), but part of the fun is the total fantasy of it.
