check out our new flor

Last weekend, after months of catalog browsing, I bit the bullet and bought some Flor tiles. They arrived just a few days later, and are even nicer in person than I imagined. At first I thought the brown was a bit paler than it appeared on their site, but the color’s grown on me since. I think it’s because it compliments our cat’s fur just perfectly. What’s also nice about the Flor tiles is that the bottoms have a layer of rubber which makes them skidproof. They stay right where you put them (even when a manic cat does bounds around the apartment). And, having one long pattern down the hallway does make it seem bigger (but mostly it looks good in this photo thanks to Chad’s wide angle lens). Amazing Lace tiles, $12 each. — Angela M.

I’ve seen them in person…for a story I wanted to get them into. They Look Amazing! I just love those!
The hallway looks spectacular. I love seeing them in real homes so much more than the catalog.
The flo(o)rs look amazing!
Also, where did you get that bench? It’s gorgeous.
Wow, they look great, nice choice.
Hi! Thanks for your kind comments. That bench is actually an IKEA LACK shelf, turned on its side. We attached wheeled casters on the bottom so it rolls!

I think I’m going to make the jump myself and get some for our bedroom. I love how your kitty and the tiles are work together.
