HI Mary

I just recently went to a IKEA in Chicago on a trip and purchased 4 curtain rods and drapes and somehow I got home with only 3 rods. The closest IKEA to me is 550 miles and they do not ship the curtain rod. I was wondering if you would be willing to get it for me for a fee to cover your time. The rod is not real long only about 47 inches closed. Thanks for your time

DJ, would you like me to do some shopping for you? I should become a personal IKEA shopper/shipper. We have an Ikea five minutes from us! It’s overwhelming when you go in one, though. You have to have plenty of headache meds. But they do have 50-cent hot dogs.

I had to comment that I cannot see the word “Stockholm” without thinking of “Stockholm syndrome,” so that makes me really wonder what kind of furnishings these will be. (This from the person who has bought something at Ikea called a Fartig.)

I do really like that footsool.

Ah… Ikea. I live in a large metro area, but we don’t have an Ikea.

Plenty of SuperTargets and Walmarts, though, I think about 15 of each.

Sigh.
