It's an even greener option because you can wash the pan and use it again. It really doesn't take all that much longer than popping in the microwave oven - you won't strave while you wait or anything. But I do it the healthy and not-going-to-ruin-my-microwave way. Just air-pop in the paper bag, If you fold the top down twice (need to in my tiny micro) it shouldn't pop open. Just do individual servings, pour just enough kernels to cover the floor of the bag, nuke til you stop hearing it pop. Add butter/salt afterwards.
