That looks good, but I’m afraid I would be stoned if I tried to serve a vegetarian meal at our house. Chicken parm could work, though.

Hate to gratuitously rub it in that I’m only in Season 1 from Netflix (where has this great show been all my life??) but a few years ago, my friend Laura had a Sopranos party and served the baked ziti with little meatballs from the Sopranos cookbook, and it was phenomenal! I’m a notorious snob about Italian food, so the fact that I’m still reminiscing about it years later says a lot.

We’re doing a big antipasto, baked ziti and romaine and fennel salad. Friends are bringing limoncello cheesecake and cannolis. (And wine. Because that’s really the most important part.)

We had our Sopranos party this last Sunday as several of our friends will be out of town for the finale. I made Not Martha’s awesome sausage calzones and a salad with low-fat creamy Italian dressing from The 15 Minute Vegetarian Gourmet. Our friends made baked ziti and manacotti and there was also “healthy” cannolis and tiramisu. So much good food!
