Flipping through the latest House & Garden, I came across a story on jewelry designer Lorenz Bäumer. What caught my eye was what he was sitting on, which appeared to be a pile of stuffed alligators. Well, it is, sorta. It’s one of several chairs by Brazilian designers Campana Brothers that juxtapose dozens of plush toys with shiny metal legs. I think I’d like sitting in one, but not sure I’d enjoy looking at one. And who am I kidding — if you have to call for pricing on a chair (they’re available at Moss) pretty much I’m out. - Mary T.
