sunset magazine’s tropical table how-to

Just cause you don’t live near Hawaii doesn’t mean you couldn’t add a little island flair to your backyard. We spotted this adorable how-to project in the August issue of Sunset magazine (which usually has us fantasizing about moving to the west coast). Starting with a basic metal side table (the kind that often turn up in yard sales for steal) and using Liquitex Glossies in high gloss acrylic enamel paint, they turned this common table into a tropical delight. To make your own, log over to Sunset’s site for detailed instructions and a downloadable template for the flowers.
