Donald Trump was at Macy’s yesterday unveiling his latest endeavor — Trump Furniture. Described as “affordable opulence” the Donald says it’s a way for those of us who can’t afford his properties to enjoy his decadent style. (Gee, thanks.) After searching around for pix online, I finally found these at greatpricedfurniture.com. This bed is about $1500. Honestly, it’s not as bad I was expecting (what? nothing’s gilded?) but I just couldn’t bring myself to buy any of his products. I suppose if a dark leather tufted headboard floats your boat this one would be a good pick. What about you? Would you buy a piece of a furniture from the Trumpster? — Angela M.
the furniture doesn’t look terrible…but this isn’t a license I plan to support. He’s icky.
The dresser in that shot isn’t bad, and I quite like the shape of the base of the bed. But whatever, I’m just complimenting the furniture designers — I’m sure Donald’s input was practically nil.
And I agree with the previous poster…I won’t support anything that uses his name, after the unprovoked insults he hurled at Rosie O’Donnell (those comments would be juvenile in the mouth of a 10 year old!).

Besides, can you imagine lying in that bad and having to think about his awful awful “hair”? A man with that little taste and class has no business doing anything with design, even if he is just tacking his name to it.

Like you, I was expecting worse. It’s not for me, but I wouldn’t turn my nose up at it.
But the idea of it being Donald’s: Ew, ew, a thousand times ew.
I have no interest in supporting Donald Trump product lines. While this furniture isn’t bad you can find other versions of it elsewhere.

Those pieces look like they’re better suited to a boardroom than a bedroom. Kinda odd.
Add my name to the list of people who won’t buy his products. It’s obvious that he did not design the pieces, so why should his name be on them?

I actually just bought a mattress by him… well i think its technically a simmons but its his “brand” Sooooo Comfy! who cares who’s name is on it!!
