blogwatch: got any new sites to share?
We have had a hectic week, which cut our surfing time. But we wanted to share with you one new blog from a friend, Berit Thorkelson, that just launched called Trusty Pony. Berit is a travel writer who lives in West Saint Paul, MN and writes about her global journeys for many publications. Her new blog highlights amazingly clever travel-related products, like these assorted wipes by La Fresh. These pocket sized packets are just the ticket to clean you up while on the road, and best of all, no pesky airport security guard will attempt to take them away from you.

oh wow. the world just keeps shrinking: i did a summer internship with berit over a decade ago! (not sure if she remembers me, but she’s got one of those cool names that’s hard to forget.) what a great idea for a blog!

So many beautiful blogs - so little time.
I just launched my blog Jackie Blue Home last month. I’m an interior designer , author and design educator. My new book The Design Directory of Window Treatments will be release on September 24. It is the first in a series for Gibbs Smith Publisher. My book is the most comprehensive visual directory ever written on window treatments. It contains over 3000 illustrations in full color and in black and white on cd. I am currently writing the second book in the series on Bedding and Bedroom Furnishings.
