Collecting chairs is a common designworld fetish, but side tables? You may just want to start after checking out Articolo, a new company created by husband-wife team Emanuela Frattini, an architect, and Carl Gustav Magnusson, former Knoll design director. The 28 side tables for sale on their site are each created by Frattini and a dozen other designers that are both practical and perfectly sleek. Among them, the excellently crafted one-drawer oak table, $595, and the more extravagant #22, whose drawers can also function as small trays, $4,900.
