finds we love from the sundance catalog

Sometimes a catalog lands under our noses that we forgot about. We saw this adorable folk art Adirondack stool ($55) in the September issue of Vogue and it reminded us what a great resource Sundance can be. Here are a few other things we’re digging on their site right now:

Add this Swiss Army Blanket, $298, to your wish list. Yes, the weather outside is still balmy, but you know that after the first frost this baby will be an essential. Love its simple design and bright red stripe.

These galvinized steel chairs are reproductions of the originals from 1934, $250. Their design is so simple, it could work in both modern and more cottage-y settings.

They may have a vintage feel, but these peace sign mugs couldn’t be more appropriate this year. Bright red, and plenty big, they’ll start your day off on the right note. $38 for set of four.

I really like a lot of the Sundance catalog, but I think the merchandise is awfully expensive. If you go to Brimfield, I bet you could score a lot better deals :)

You can find the exact same Swiss Army blankets on eBay for between $20 and $30. I just got one last week. $27.75 with shipping.

Anna

Seriously. You could get that stool for cheap and paint it yourself.

I found the Swiss Army Blanket on a really great site called poshchicago.com for $50. Its no $20, $30…but its not $300 either…sundance is making a mint off of these!!!

I didn’t know there was such a thing as an adirondack stool? I built a site featuring adirondack chairs, rockers, benches, etc. I’ll have to look into this new find :)
