1. You love Nice suprises. Zeehomebug wrote: “I had no idea about Nice’s free gift programme and I love the sound of it! I actually bought a cowboy lamp from them a few months ago — I’ll have to send them a snap of it at home!” See more about Nice’s free gift program here.

2. You don’t judge a magazine by its cover. Sort of. Sara says of Good Housekeeping. “I’m a total magazine junky, and some times I run out of things to flip through. It’s good to know that there’s something else I can pick up. And I love this idea for repurposing hardware.” Click here to see this clever idea from the mag.

3. You worry about Zombies. Chad things underground houses could be the way to go in the event of an invasioin. But DJ disagrees, writing “Can’t zombies burrow like nobody’s business? You might be better off in a treehouse, where you could knock them off the trunk with a stick.” See more about underground houses here.

4. The Japanese know a thing or two about a gift giving. Gautam told us: “I heard that Japanese people like gifts from high-end department stores like Saks and Neiman Marcus. Oseibo is one of the best occasions to gift the Japanese. Check out - this blog for international gift giving etiquette. And click here for a gift anyone would love.

5. There’s an endless supply of macaroni and cheese recipes worth trying. This one from Maven is next on our list. She says: “I’ve made this one from the New York Times several times. I love that it uses uncooked pasta, thus cutting out a step, and that the cheese to pasta ratio is 2 to 1. It ain’t lowfat, but it’s delicious. Click here to see more mac and cheese suggestions.
