want it now: dirt devil kone - illuminated!
I realize the new(ish) Dirt Devil Designer Series by Karim Rashid has been around for awhile, but they just recently caught my attention. (In a Good Housekeeping ad insert — again with the Good Housekeeping!) I knew I liked them, but I went certifiably nutty for them when I checked them out online and saw the KONE Hand Vacuum in white illuminated! It’s sculpture, it’s a nightlight, it’s a way to clean the cat litter off the bathroom floor. I can’t believe I’m about to ask for a vacuum for Christmas! - Mary T.

Love the look - but do you think it’s powerful enough to pick up the HUGE tumbleweeds that roll off my West Elm shag rug on an hourly basis??

I feel the need to warn you of how very, very bright this little guy lights up (I have the white one). There’s always the option to turn it off if you don’t like it, however; I think the shape is great!

just a warning, i received one of the older models as a gift…and while it’s pretty…it doesn’t have much power. also, the shape of the nozzle is awkward.

I have the Kone (from last year’s christmas- best thing I ever asked for!!) and I love it. It’s perfect for the litter box and those little messes that pop up- you won’t be sorry.
