If you can add the salt before you bake it, I would do that.

I just made the filling but did mistakenly leave out the 1/2 t of salt. What will happen? Should I go ahead and bake it, or pour the filling back in the bowl and add salt?

Seems like quite a bit of sugar compared to most pumpkin pies...

How is it?

Hi,
Quick question: this recipe (for the filling) calls for you to mix the first 6 ingredients, which includes the eggs (which are supposed to be beat in a separate bowl from the sugars and spices. Is there a spice missing from the ingredient list or should the instructions read "blend the first 5 ingredients" instead of the first 6? I've scoured People's website and can't find the recipe anywhere.
Thanks for any assistance!
