gift giving guide: mary’s wish list
We continue our gift giving guides with picks from Seattle-based writer Mary T., who’s dreaming about squirrels and dancing toast.

Little Odd Forest Stumpie Seat/Floor Cushion, $41.60. I have a lot of cool plastic chairs, and I need something cute and comfy to put on them.

Oilcloth Porch and Patio Pillows from Tanner Bananer, $35. For the hammock. So cute and simple that I could make them — but I won’t!
Donovan Wall Hanging from Clare Nicolson, 40 pounds. Something I like about that donkey, and I do tend to vote Democratic.
Earrings from Abigail A. Percy, $50-$220. The Anemone Leaf Hoop earrings in particular are so beautiful.

A painting by Dan Goodsell, $28-150. I’m a sucker for food with arms and legs.

Pan Am Secret Agent Laptop Bag from Kolobags, $99. I’m going to pretend I’m in the movie Catch Me If You Can.
“The Seeker” T-shirt from Threadless, $20. Cool design, and it’s flocked? I’m in.

Peekaboo Clear Coffee Table from CB2, $249. We want to upgrade in our new house to more of a sleek look. The house isn’t huge, and I like how these disappear. And it will be easier to clean off our mastiff’s drool!

Modern Nature Squirrel Pillow at Uncommon Goods, $48. My thing for squirrels continues apace.
Herman Miller Mirra Chair in citron, $799 at OfficeDesigns.com. This will be a splurge and a half, but considering I’ve worked at home full-time for a year, it’s really time that I got myself a real office chair.

Nice Mirra Chair! I’ve actually been sitting on an Aeron chair from the same place you bought yours (http://www.officedesigns.com). Glad to see you like your chair. It’s so different from the $80 chairs I used to buy from Office Depot!
