My cat, Ally Ginsberg, thinks she is people. Because she is people, she believes that she is entitled to drink from any cup of water around the house and if she cannot reach, she will tip the cup over to get to the water.

She breaks a lot of cups.

So I am constantly on the lookout for cute glasses and mugs to replace my broken ones. I stumbled upon POSH a Chicago store that specializes in vintage restaurant china and dinnerware. Here you can find French cafe cups (currently on backorder) or these adorable gnome mugs ($12). I’m not entirely sure what kind of restaurant uses gnome mugs, but I’ll take them. The selection is ever-changing and well selected (lots of items are from Europe). In addition to dinnerware, you can grab lots of other random vintage finds here. The more broken cups we have around here, the more excuses I have to buy from POSH. — Kim B.
