My housemate, who makes great cakes in all sorts of shapes, did a similar cake modeled after herself for one of her birthday parties. She used a bundt cake pan (something we're more likely to use again) and a full-sized doll from the dollar store whose hair she trimmed to look like hers. I believe she put a paper cone in the top of the cake to smooth out the dress line; the cake was then frosted to match her party dress. It turned out very well!

Ha! Priscilla, I was just going to link to that.

Angela, please tell me you saved the doll and will use it to knit a toilet paper cover?
