leah’s ebay finds: dansk enamel pot

I swear I’d cook more if I had kitchenware this great-looking. I mean, who could help but be inspired to start something yummy bubbling on the stove if you got to look at it in this French-made red enamel pot by Dansk? The vintage, like-new pot was part of Dansk’s classic “Kobenstyle” line and holds two quarts. Of what — well, that’s entirely up to you. Current bid: $22. — Leah H.
(P.S. Don’t miss the matching 5.5-quart red Dansk Dutch oven currently up for auction from another eBay seller.)

I have that pot. Growing up, it was used frequently for enchilada casserole.
Dansk made lots of great enamel ware. I have one of their cast iron enamel casserole dishes and it’s awesome (and it also weighs about 10 lbs!)

You’re so right. I was just appreciating the orangey-red goodness of my Le Creuset pot while making veggie soup yesterday.

OMG my mom JUST gave me a brown saucepan like this.
You want it? Its yours! Free, nada, gratis. Lid too.
(mom said “Look! It has its own TRIVET!”)
(I’m thinking, oh, gawd, where do i put THIS? )
One more thing to evaporate my no visual clutter goal.
