stamps we’re psyched about: charles and ray eames
Okay, I never thought the phrase “stamps we’re psyched about” would make it into a headline, but a friend of mine just sent this to me — 2008 stamps featuring Charles and Ray Eames! These will look swell on all my moco party invites and thank-you cards. And I may have to save a sheet or two for posterity. Get a closer look here. –Mary T.

Those are pretty cool. Better use ‘em quick, though. First class will go up 1 cent in May.

These are absolutely lovely - but I wouldn’t count on being able to use them throughout the year, unless these will be released as 42¢ stamps. Postage goes up again on May 12th (and NOTHING ruins the look of “fancy” on your invites, tynotes, etc. more than tacky little 1¢ stamps on the envelope!)

Never fear, these stamps will be released this summer (after the May price hike) from what I can gather. If you look closely you’ll see that the price is crossed out so they will be available at whatever price is current for their release. Keep an eye out for them!
