Thanks to a timely article in Seattle Metropolitan, we stopped by the Kasala Outlet Store today. The furniture store offers deep discounts on some really great stuff — modern, tweedy sectionals, mushroom lamps, leather side chairs — at as much as 50-75% off store prices. Most pieces had no discernible flaw, and some were brand-new. No mid-century modern household names, but a lot of great-looking, solidly built furniture. Unfortunately, Kasala is a Seattle-only store, but if you’re in the area, definitely worth stopping by. This Thursday, Kasala is adding another 10-20% savings on top of already low prices for their Leap Year sale. This almost makes up for not living near the DWR Sale. Almost. –Mary T.
