It’s (K)not Wood wants you to contact paper your desk. Having already lived through the ’70s, we finally wonder if maybe this woodgrain thing has gone too far.
Color Crush explores an obsession with pink. Apartment Therapy doesn’t like a pink office. And awhile back, Angela wanted to see Mary T.’s hot-pink office. So here it is:

Happy spring!

Love the office… that’s an amazing hue. What is the paint color?
great round-up! xo
There was a great musing on a pink dressing room in yesterday’s NYTimes House & Home section. It’s Elle Woods’ dressing room for the musical version of Legally Blonde (http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/20/garden/20dressing.html).

Pink is tricky – I went WAY wrong in my guest room with an institutional pink, then pepto pink, then finally hit the right shade in between. It took awhile to get it right!
Thanks! Angela, the color is “Juicy Melon” and the paint is Expressions Gallery. It’s a paint I’ve never seen anywhere but McClendon Hardware, a local company (http://www.mclendons.com/). However, you can get a shade that’s pretty close (which is what my previous office was painted) from Kilz Casual Colors at Wal-Mart which is called “Rumba” — at least judging from the website, I’m pretty sure that was the one.
hey – thanks for the mention!
I’ll ask over at Poppytalk too, but does anyone know where I can get a Gocco printer, or whether some are better than others? I have an intense urge to print print print.
IKEA is loaded with pink these days, hot pink and most currently baby pink. teh entire ektorp line is availabe in a soft baby pink as are some shelves and stuff.. I personally like HOT pink. In moderation.
