meg’s green finds: union 18’s “raw” rugs
Gotta love stripes! Union 18’s striped, handmade Raw rugs are assembled using recycled carpet scraps that otherwise would have been discarded. Husband-and-wife team Todd and Meg van der Kruik carefully select the color palates for each rug, and the result is a bare-feet warmer with both style, history, and heart. These rugs are really lovely. The color palates are perfect- subdued but still very pretty.

Love this idea. I used to sell flooring, so I am aware of how much is wasted. Nice to see some of the material being put to good use.
