I like to buy the mini tissue packs at target or Trader Joe’s and then put them in handmade tissue covers (something like this: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=11807357 ). That way I can keep a bunch of small stashes hidden around the house and in my purse, and I don’t have to look at an unsightly tissue box. It got me through a pretty harsh round of colds this past winter. But if your allergies are really bad, I suppose mini tissue packs may not be big enough to be useful.

I bought a few of the cute Kleenex boxes with the idea that I would keep reusing them, just buying “plain” refill tissues and putting them into the pretty boxes. But I haven’t run out of the original tissues yet (no allergies!) so I can’t say whether my scheme will actually, um, work.

Trader Joes has really cute boxes of tissue that are 99 cents each. Not reusable of course, but there’s a green toile patterned one I love!

I think the question was actually about boxes that tissue come in, but I think you’re better off just getting a simple cover.

I love the toro too but haven’t dared try it in a house with two kids under 4. I have been searching for something nice (actually three somethings – three different rooms) for months.
