Send in your best picnic recipe to have a chance to win this super fab gear from Cynthia Rowley’s Whim line at Target!
Cynthia Rowley sure knows how to liven things up. First she introduced this to-die-for pink garden hose that we’ve all flipped over, and now she’s designed a line of delightfully colorful picnic gear for Target called Whim. Their kind PR folks gave us a bundle of it and we decided to give it to YOU… well, a few of you!
Here’s how to enter the contest: Email us ONE great picnic recipe, like a salad or sandwich. A few of us will review and pick our favorite as the Grand Prize. Two runners up will also win prizes — and, naturally, you’ll have the honor of having your recipe (or mom’s or grandmom’s) featured on Shelterrific. Email your entries to us at letters (at) shelterrific dot com. Please include your full name and mailing address along with the recipe. If you send a photo along with the recipe, we will love you even more.
Here’s what you could win:
Grand Prize: plaid beverage tub, serving platter and bowl, 12-piece dinner set including four fruit patterned), eight striped tumblers, six margarita glasses.
First Place: Madras tablecloth and four place mats.
Second Place: Hot pink picnic blanket.
Contest ends NEXT FRIDAY, June 6th. Winners will be announced the week of June 16th. So send along your favorite bring-to-the-park dish, and you could score on a Whim!

By the way, I know people have had some trouble finding the pink hose… I was at the Target in Watertown, MA last night and while I didn’t see the pink one there were three or four lovely bright turquoise ones in the Whim area!
