The great thing about Father’s Day? It’s not only a day dedicated to the most special guys in our lives, but also a great excuse to get stuff done. Because some dads actually get a kick out of completing projects around the house. Case in point: Last year, our friend Tim built a new work bench with his Dad. It’s made from a kit you can get all the big box stores; work bench kits basically come with the side legs, and then you have the lumber cut to the size you want. Tim’s took about an hour and half to make, with the measuring of the 2x4s being the most tedious part. Plastic legs are especially good if you’re keeping it in a damp basement.
