kinda genius: hook & go cart

We spotted this cute Hook & Go Urban Shopper in Bon Appetit magazine thought, ‘Wow. Where was this the other day when we were lugging home armloads of bags from Whole Foods’? The perfect shopping companion, it has eight hooks that carry up to 70 pounds with ease. Rubber wheels help it roll smoothly on bumpy streets, and a rubber stopper keeps it upright when needed. When you’re home with the goodies, it folds up nice and compact. And, wouldn’t it look great with a bunch of floral Envirosax’s hanging from it? $60 at surlatable.com.

i good idea in theory, but i bet this thing would go off balance and tip over if you didn’t load it up right…

I think I’ll stick with my bike. Carries me *and* my groceries.

I have one, and it’s awesome. You don’t notice the weight at all, I’ve had no problems with balance because it’s well-designed, and the groceries don’t get crushed by stacking them on each other as with an ordinary granny cart.

Way cooler than the ubiquitous “granny carts”.
