The totes as a chair cover is a GREAT idea. You should kudo/mention the couple who came up with it (if they are up for it) -- really good idea.

[...] 3. Envirosax bags make great wedding favors. Steph went to a wedding recently where “They actually hung the bags over the backs of everyone’s chairs in the reception hall, and it made for such a pretty and colorful table deco, that they didn’t need to pay extra for chair covers matching their colors - and everyone got to take them home!!” Click here to see more green wedding ideas.
I know someone who did the Envirosax bags as wedding favors and it was such a cool thing. They actually hung the bags over the backs of everyone's chairs in the reception hall, and it made for such a pretty and colorful table deco, that they didn't need to pay extra for chair covers matching their colors - and everyone got to take them home!! Very fun AND ecofriendly AND cost effective... all around a great idea. In fact, I loved my bag so much that I went back and bought the same style in a pouch (Mikado), and now use them almost daily for groceries and the gym... a great find!

Here's a photo of the style I bought:

Sigh--I wanted some Wonderful Graffiti for my wedding a year ago, but our venue said NO!!!! in no uncertain terms. I explained that it peeled off with no problem,it's not a real decal or sticker, and their faces went from horror to truculence. NO!!!!! So much for our Graffit'ed wedding. ;(
