more twin bed goodness from furniturea

More evidence that twin beds can be cool — check out how great these Furniturea twin beds look (spotted them at Remodelista). Solid wood, 22 colors (plus custom colors). What fun it would be to mix and match in a happy child’s or guest bedroom. Of course, since they’re $1,090 each, they also inspire the DIY-er in me to think about painting up some twin beds on our own. Nice–but expensive. Yikes. I thought it looked like Maine Cottage furniture but more modern, and then I read that the company was started by a Maine Cottage alum. Much as I like both companies’ stuff, I think I’ll be either waiting for sales or getting out my paintbrush. I do love colored furniture.

I thought it looked like Maine Cottage too, but not as cute.
