product i love: crocheted nylon pot scrubber

Inexpensive scrubbers can make great decor, but for day-to-day use, there’s nothing I like more than hand-crocheted nylon pot scrubbers. My mother-in-law started picking them up on trips to Gatlinburg to give as stocking stuffers, and she gave me a few extra when I proclaimed my love for them. Why are they so great? For one, they work! For two, they don’t unravel in a mess like the store-bought versions do. For three, they don’t rust. And you can toss them in the laundry to clean them. Sure, they’re going to wear out over time, but I’ve had one for a year and it’s still going strong. Who made it? Honestly, I don’t know. I do know there are many sellers out there on Etsy, or you could make one yourself. (If, unlike me, you have that kind of talent!) –Mary T.
