stylish and functional toothbrush holder

If I wasn’t committed to my electric toothbrush, I’d have already purchased this great branch-shaped toothbrush holder from Jayson Home & Garden. I love the clean white porcelain and the way the organic shape lends itself to holding two brushes. I might just have to pick one up and find another use. Perhaps the holder could double as a bud-vase, or a place to stash my make-up brushes. — Erica P.

Re: electric toothbrushes, has anyone found an attractive storage solution for the bases and brushes? Most designers seem stuck in the non-electric brush mode.

I keep the electric toothbrush charger in a drawer, except for once every 3 weeks or so when it needs and overnight charge. In the meantime I keep my toothbrush on a soap dish in the medicine cabinet. Admission: never taken a hand towel or robe, etc. but I shamelessly ask for well designed soap dishes from hotels. These are endlessly useful and frequently one of a kind designs by famous designers that are mass produced and regularly available from staff.

we keep our bases and electric toothbrushes under the sink. the back of our vanity has a hole in it, and it’s kinda freestanding with space underneath, so we were able to run and extension cord to a nearby outlet. love not looking at those things!!
